The Blend:

Aniseed Myrtle, Fennel Flower, Green Tea & Dehydrated Lemon

Contains Caffeine.

A light, slightly sweet green tea with aromatic flavours giving hints of anise & licorice.

The tea has been blended with Aniseed Myrtle which enhances the aroma & sweetness of the Fennel flower pollen & leaves giving a licorice-like taste. The added lemon gives a light citrus flavour on a base of an Australian premium green tea that uses leaves from the summer to Autumn harvest, creating a tea that has full bodied flavours. This blend is particularly smooth on the palate and is perfect following a meal to freshen your breath.

Glady's:

This blend was made with my Aunty Gladys in mind, it is a caffeinated, uplifting brew.

When I think of Aunty Gladys I think of stability as she has lived in the same house for decades, which is full of treasures from yesteryear, family trees, sentimental & cherished memorabilia.

Aunty Gladys is so welcoming & when I selected this blend I wanted it to be uplifting, one that whilst drinking you can picture yourself sitting around the country kitchen table, with family reminising on times gone by.

Fennel (Foeniculum Vulgare) - Fennel flower pollen has been known to aid digestion and help with bloating and gas problems. It is also believed to reduce congestion & sooth coughs.

Aniseed Myrtle - (Anetholea Anisate) - formerly known as (Backhousia Anisate) contains antioxidants, vitamins & minerals.

Ideal brewing method:

  • Add 1-2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea to your tea infuser, place in your teapot or mug
  • When the water reaches the desired temp - optimum temp of 70 - 80 degrees, just off boiling Pour approx 250ml of water over your tea infuser – allowing water to circulate through leaves
  • Time your tea - steep for 2 -3 minutes
  • Once time is up, dunk the infuser a couple of times to circulate the water
  • Remove the infuser and set aside for a second steeping

Tip: when re-steeping your tea add additional time to draw out the flavour – it will be a weaker brew but still refreshing & beneficial.
