Australian Sencha Green tea is a premium tea. It contains leaves from the summer to Autumn harvest which create a tea that has full bodied flavours. It is blended with Australian Lemon Myrtle adding a light citrusy flavour that compliments the Green Tea so well with the added zest from dehydrated lemons.


Beate:

This blend is named after Aunty Beate a vibrant, uplifting lady who is honest & authentic. Beate has many ideals that align with my own and is a wonderful animal lover supporting dog & animal refuges. Beate is environmentally friendly, totally groovy and has a spark for life. She can be seen riding a scooter, an electric bike and has even been known to taking Chopper (her beloved cat) along for a ride!

Lemon Myrtle - (Backhousia Citriodora) – used to strength immunity, and in some cases relieves stress and assists with insomnia, is an antioxidant and has anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral properties.

 

Dehydrated Lemon - are known to have flavonoids, potassium, magnesium, zinc, copper, Vitamins

C & B6 & antioxidants

 

Ideal brewing method:

  • Add 1-2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea to your tea infuser, place in your teapot or mug.
  • When the water reaches the desired temp - optimum temp of 70 - 80 degrees, just off boiling.
  • Pour approx 250ml of water over your tea infuser – allowing water to circulate through leaves.
  • Time your tea - Steep for 2 -3 minutes.
  • Once time is up dunk the infuser a couple of times to circulate the water.
  • Remove the infuser and set aside for a second steeping.

 

Tip: when resteeping your tea add additional time to draw out the flavour – it will be a weaker brew but still refreshing & beneficial!
